Construction Students Association Bucharest

The Construction Students Association of Bucharest is a non-governmental organization, representative of the students of the Technical University of Constructions of Bucharest.

ASCB’s vision: We believe in people, we believe in ourselves, we believe that together we can become the change we want in society!

The mission we have undertaken is to build and develop communities motivated by humanity and knowledge that generate a positive impact on society in terms of integrity, innovation and involvement.

Our values represent the six pillars of ASCB: Integrity, Initiative, Involvement, Learning, Innovation, and Impact.

In its more than 11 years of activity, ASCB has represented and promoted the interests of over 10,000 students, creating opportunities for personal and professional development, charitable events, as well as internship programs designed to facilitate the accommodation of students in the labor market and strengthen collaboration between the university environment, the business environment and students.

The Internship programs developed by ASCB together with AICPS, ISC and various companies in the field offer the students of the Technical University of Constructions the opportunity to develop their practical work experience under the supervision of professionals in the field. In 2017, over 80 students completed their internship project, for a month, within this program.

Construction Student Week takes place at the beginning of each academic year and consists of site visits and design offices, workshops and trainings, in order to inspire, motivate and empower current students – future engineers and provide a clearer perspective on the career of an engineer.

ConstructFEST is a reference event for the construction market in Romania and for the future human resource in the field, current and future students. The event annually hosts workshops, presentations and round tables with various topics of interest in the field, guided tours on campus and in the university laboratories, cultural events and fairs dedicated to pupils and students.

Christmas Eve party is a tradition of ASCB through which, from donations obtained at various artistic moments, such as magic numbers, stand up, musical moments, dance, theater, auctions, food stands, we want to bring the spirit of Christmas closer to people in difficulty who need our support.

The training programs consolidate the knowledge acquired at the faculty, contributing to the development of students both professionally and personally. Both trainers from the association and specialists from companies in the field participate in the training of students.
