17DECGE – the 17th Danube – European Geotechnical Engineering Conference

The Romanian Society of Geotechnics and Foundations (SRGF), together with the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University Iași, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and “Politehnica” University Timișoara are organizing the 17th Danube – European Conference of Geotechnical Engineering between June 7-9, Ramada Parc, Bucharest.

During the 17DECGE Conference, various topics related to geotechnical design will be discussed:

– geotechnical investigation and terrain modeling

– geotechnical design (including Eurocodes)

– geo-hazards

– environmental geotechnics, hydrogeology and energy

– BIM and applications of artificial intelligence in geotechnical engineering

The technical visit of the conference will be carried out at the new suspension bridge over the Danube in Brăila on June 10, 2023.
